MAGIC ACCESSORIES

This is a limited collection of handmade accessories!
Includes: 1 hand-illustrated amulet and 1 pair of cicada fairy wings earrings with volcanic stone spheres, plus other surprise gifts!

Delicate material, handle with care. Avoid getting the creation wet for a longer duration!

It is important to avoid contact with water and scratches. It is also advisable not to sleep with the earrings on. Materials used: flexible clay, paper, paints, iridescent plastic, acetate, pens, glues, among others.

- The amulets are flexible but it is important to remember that if it is very cold in your region, it is not recommended to articulate the amulet because it can crack, as it becomes more rigid.
- The fairy wings are hand-drawn and made with many details, improving the techniques over the years.

- The illustrated amulets are unique creations, made in a ritualistic process, where I let the shapes and colors present themselves intuitively. There will never be one like the other.

The amulet is closed with a glass dome and carved in cold porcelain, finished with pva ink, acrylic and varnish.

In this series I used two techniques for the miniature illustrations: some made with ink and pen on a sheet of canson paper, and others made in the same way, cutting out the drawing and pasting it on a sheet of iridescent material.

Good flight 💖

CICADA FAIRY

The cicada fairy is a faerie species that illustrates the Tundra world with her spells. These wings are collected from a natural process, when the Cicada Fairy reaches its adult stage, it loses the pair of small wings to make way for the new wings that mark this transition, this process is called a faerie exoskeleton.

Gathered in the forests of mosses and crystals *no animals or fairies were harmed, the whole process happens naturally*

The cicada fairy is born in an egg, like a cocoon seed and gradually develops. When it finally emerges from the cocoon, its wings fall out in a natural process. They spend a few years without wings and at a certain point they return to the egg, in Hibernation-bubble-solitude. There they develop their seeds and new wings, larger and more powerful, grow with them. Upon hatching the second time, the iridescent glow emerges with transformative force. The adult stage is how this species of fairy spends the most time, up to hundreds of years ~ and at this stage if their wings fall off, quickly others are born and develop.
