The Elder Tree
In a dark and humid forest, among mosses, there lived a tree and it had existed for over a thousand years. The wise old tree. She had a spirit. Sivaara was its name, the ancient creature that whispers secrets. The spirit of the elder tree governs patience, growth and honoring cycles, and the wisdom that only Time brings. She can be a great advisor to humans and other beings, becoming an ally in our Journey.

DRYADS (Tree Spirits) Collection 🌳

Beings as old as planet Earth, or the primordial nature of Otherworlds, tree-dwelling elemental spirits are an integral part of natural life. They are guardians of the woods and forests, and there, in addition to cohabiting harmoniously, they also protect small animals and all the diversity of life that exists. They can live from hundreds to thousands of years, they are ancestral beings and have a lot of wisdom from the earth element, for their deep roots, and from the air element, with their fluttering branches pointed, usually, upwards, where they get celestial wisdom. They are like channels between the planes, messengers of the worlds.

They suffer from pollution, deforestation and the destruction of the environment, like all trees uprooted by human greed…However, they are resilient and came to bring us this awareness. How can we improve our habits? How to live in more harmony with Nature? How to transform our actions and ideals?

Because they are mainly of the earth element, they bring stability, sustainable prosperity, balance between the physical and spiritual planes. They can also help with insights into ritualistic elements such as tree splinters, leaves, trunks, flowers and plants.

Sivaara, the Elder Tree

Materials used: Art Doll sculpture produced with different materials. Wire, many reused plastics and cardboard, fabrics, paints, varnish, cold porcelain, flexible putty, among other materials. This is an art doll articulated in all branches! It took months creating Sivaara down to the smallest detail. The leaves are of raw cotton, made one by one, manually.

Dimensions: 65x55cm but can get taller depending on how you position your 100% articulated branches!
