ART AND SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is a key aspect of TerraTundra, as I believe in a better relationship between human beings and the environment. The foundation of my work is built with wire, where I define the articulations, and then I reuse what would otherwise be discarded — filling the 3D volume with plastics, paper, cardboard, cement bags, bottles, and more.
The alchemical transformation happens throughout the entire creative process, with an ecological commitment present from raw materials to the final delivery. I am constantly reusing materials and reducing waste as much as possible. In doing so, I not only create unique and enchanted artworks, but also help reduce materials that would otherwise pollute the land and oceans.
I also use eco-resin and other sustainable materials in my creations.
Another important aspect is the packaging used to send the artworks to you. The boxes and cases are handcrafted using ecological wood. The wrapping is made with kraft or honeycomb paper, both biodegradable materials. When I use bubble wrap for more delicate pieces, it is always reused, avoiding the need to purchase new plastic.
I am always experimenting with new ways of creating, seeking innovative solutions to produce art with minimal environmental impact. Nature, a great source of inspiration in my work, is also a vital part of what I believe in for a greener future on planet Earth. ♻️
